Hey all!
It's the beginning of the year which means that it's time to look back at my favorite articles of 2017.
My last blog post before this was one was my favorite articles of 2016. For those interested, you can read that post here.
If you think I haven't written anything since Jan. 2 of 2017, you'd be very wrong. 2017 was full of game stories, previews, features and many other articles both for Elk River Star News as well as Monticello School District. In fact, I typed more words on my computer this year than in any other year previous.
Anyways, let's get back to the best articles of the year.
The list is simple. I read a lot of newspaper articles because I am fascinated with journalism. If I read the article and enjoyed it, I put it into my AOL email folder titled "2017 Best Articles." If I didn't like the article, I didn't put it into the folder. Pretty easy to follow.
My interests and hobbies are unique therefore the articles that follow are all over the board. You may like only one article on this list but if you read anything on this list that you find fascinating, please let me know.
Also, in 2018, one of my resolutions is to read more. If you ever see an article that you think I would enjoy, feel free to send it to Jhines91@aol.com. Even if I end up not putting it in my "2018 Best Articles" folder, I will still enjoy the fact that you thought about me.
